AMCO Proteins has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, proactive IT Helpdesk Technician. This role will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our systems, including hosted and cloud environments, phone and cameras systems as well as work stations. AMCO Proteins has 60 years of experience in manufacturing and developing protein ingredients for customers around the world. Our solutions-oriented approach and quality focus has made us a leader in the food, beverage and nutritional industries.

Essential Job Functions

  • Configures, upgrades, supports and maintains internal and client networks 
  • Servers –Windows: Active Directory, Exchange, VM Ware
  • Employee workstation maintenance including service tickets
  • Routers, Hubs, Switches, Firewalls, Wireless Access Points – Configuration and Management
  • Data backup and recovery solutions
  • Upgrade, patches, new applications and equipment
  • Install hardware and applications


Requirements

  • 2-3 years experience
  • Excellent Knowledge of Windows Server Platforms (2008+) 
  • Experience in installation of operating systems, joining to a domain, DNS, DHCP, Terminal Services, Microsoft Exchange (2010+) 
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL
  • Experience and knowledge of internet connectivity and firewall operation
  • Excellent knowledge of desktop software: Microsoft Office 
  • Aptitude and desire to learn new technologies

Material Handler is responsible for inspecting finished product and raw materials for quality standard as well as staging, palletizing, cleaning and labeling all product correctly. The Material Handler will also dismantle, clean and assemble production equipment correctly in an organized manner. Responsibilities also include filling out relevant paperwork and production logs.

Essential Job Functions:


  • Physically able to fill, lift, move and palletize up to 55 lbs. bags throughout the required shift.
  • Work up to 12 hours at a time in both wet and dry production environments.
  • Dismantle, clean and assemble production equipment correctly and in an organized manner.
  • Inspect finished product and raw materials for quality standards – staged, palletized, cleaned, labeled correctly.
  • Assure that work areas are clean and organized at times.
  • Assure that finished products are packaged to the highest standard of quality.
  • Fill out relevant paperwork and production logs.
  • Follow plant rules posted throughout production, including appropriate use of PPE.
  • Follow all Company, Safety, SQF, OSHA, GMP and ISO rules.
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity, efficiency and safety.
  • Be willing to work various shifts from time to time.
  • Responsible for following food safety programs.

 

Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.




Blending Operator will operate equipment used in the production of powder via a blending process. The Operator will work with a shift Supervisor and help manage material handlers. Individual must be able to work with minimum direction and be familiar with manufacturing processes. Their goal is to ensure that the production process runs safely and smoothly and produces quality products that meet customer specifications.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Able to lead a shift and assure that all Material Handlers are properly working and in their designated work areas.
  • Physically able to fill, lift, move and palletize up to 200lb bags, sacks or drums.
  • Work up to 12 hours at a time in both wet and dry production environments.
  • Dismantle, clean and assemble production equipment correctly and in an organized manner.
  • Clean production piping, walls and miscellaneous areas in the plant when production is idle.
  • Must be able to stage and weigh required ingredients.
  • Inspect finished product and raw materials for quality standards – staged, palletize, clean, label correctly.
  • Assure that work areas are clean and organized at times.
  • Assure that finished products are packaged to the highest standard of quality.
  • Fill out relevant paperwork and production logs.
  • Follow Plant Rules posted throughout production, including appropriate use of PPE.
  • Follow all Company, Safety, OSHA, GMP and ISO rules.
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity, efficiency and safety.
  • Be willing to work various shifts and weekends from time to time.
  • Be willing to help out in other departments in facility as needed if production schedule changes.
  • Must have a clean understanding of lot numbers and what that means for production.
  • Must be able to read scales and check bag weights.
  • Must be able to safely operate a pallet jack.
  • Must be able to follow cleaning procedures and follow lock-out tag out procedures.
  • Must be able to understand, follow and implement the procedures for the instantizing process in the blending room.

 

Requirements:

  • Blending experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Able to lift and move up to 200 lbs. bags throughout entire shift.
  • High School Diploma or GED.


Sales Executive will be responsible for driving the growth of the business by prospecting, generating and closing new business opportunities. This role requires someone that is a highly motivated, proactive self-starter.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Identify prospects and generate new business opportunities
  • Effectively manage opportunities, move them through the sales process, and close.
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Maintain quarterly contact and conduct year-end business reviews with customers.
  • Daily communication with Account Managers (AMs) to help service accounts. 
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the market, industry trends, news, competitors, etc.
  • Daily use of CRM system.
  • Actively participate in meetings, conference calls, and training programs.
  • Travel and attend industry events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of industry experience.
  • Travel at least 1-2 weeks per month.
  • A team player who works well in an environment where sharing information and open communication is critical to the overall success of the organization.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
